Check out the Lyon County Historical Museum, The Howe House and the WA White State Historic Site. Emporia has some cool history! I also recommend checking out the performing arts with the Emporia Arts Council and the great summer music at the "Live in the Lot."

For all you disc golfers, don't miss Emporia's three full courses...54 baskets total. There are two courses at Jones Park and the third is at historic Peter Pan Park. While you're at Peter Pan Park, check out the new community designed and built playground...pretty awesome. Some other favorites are the Zoo and the old bridge at Soden's Grove.
